Description:

The raising urban population worldwide demands to use architecture as a tool to transform our social behavior.


R-QROnextion aims to rescue and restore the natural environment inside the city, allow the main river to become the main oxygen source at dowintown area, invert the pyramid of mobility prioritizing pedestians over motorized vehicles and generate a new way of understanding our relationship with the city through recreational, sportive, cultural and social activities.

This new approach includes ecological water treatment plants as a first step to clean the water and reactive the river's movement. Also as a complement of this treatment, the architectonical program of the intervention includes: Arts and crafts market and the potentialitation of SME's, in order to increase the local commerce; a botanical garden, for improve the culture of preservation and environmental care; a Red Zone, which raise in population a significative way of see the things with tolerance and respect of sexual diversity and a better educated society of sexual aid and sexual education.

All of this working as a one to respond at local and immediate needs in the different parts of the avenue, which through the architectonic design will: modify the social behavior on a positive way to achieve the integration of the human in urban zones with nature
